"In the mid 90's UNICEF selected three of my paintings for possible use in cards, including Abha Baskets. Abha is a town in the Asir Mountains in Saudi Arabia which has a wonderful outdoor market. There I purchased these beautiful baskets which are made only in that region. The colors of the baskets are realistic and reflect the vibrancy and strength of the mountain bedu who wove them."
